Blade MCU Release Date
Marvel’s Blade reboot starring Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali is set to sink its teeth into theaters on November 7, 2025. Directed by Yann Demange (White Boy Rick, Lovecraft Country), this marks the Daywalker’s proper introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Plot: What We Know
The MCU’s Blade follows Eric Brooks, a half-vampire “Daywalker” with all the strengths of vampires but none of their weaknesses (except the thirst). Ali’s Blade was teased in Eternals post-credits (voice only) and will fully debut here. The film is expected to lean into horror tones — vampires, blood, supernatural underworld — while fitting into the broader MCU tapestry.
Demange brings gritty, atmospheric direction. Michael Starrbury (When They See Us) wrote the latest draft. Kevin Feige produces. The film was originally dated for 2023, then 2024, now November 2025 — delays attributed to script rewrites and directorial changes (Bassam Tariq exited in 2022).
Expect R-rated or hard PG-13 violence, practical creature effects, and connections to Midnight Sons corner of the MCU (Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, etc.).
