The Boys Season 5 Release Date

Amazon Prime Video’s hit superhero satire The Boys returns for its fifth and final season in 2025. Showrunner Eric Kripke has confirmed Season 5 will conclude the series, with production wrapping in late 2024 for a 2025 Amazon Prime Video US release.

Plot: What We Know

Season 5 picks up after Season 4’s explosive finale — Homelander’s power consolidated, Butcher’s temporary Compound V enhancement, and the Boys fractured. The final season will bring the conflict between The Boys and Vought to its ultimate conclusion, with Homelander’s dictatorship vs. the resistance reaching its breaking point.

Kripke has promised a “satisfying ending” that pays off character arcs from Season 1. The Gen V spin-off storyline may intersect. Expect the signature ultra-violence, political satire, and corporate critique that defines the series.
