The stars are lining up to play for charity. ABC has unveiled the full slate of contestants for Celebrity Family Feud season 12, which kicks off on Thursday, July 9 at 8 p.m. ET, with episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.
The new season’s matchups lean heavily into friendly cross-sport and cross-genre rivalries. Super Bowl champions from the AFC and NFC will square off, with Ray Lewis Jr., Terrell Suggs, Hines Ward, Melvin Blount and Rodney Harrison facing an NFC squad featuring Michael Singletary, Isaac Bruce, Landon Dickerson, Amani Toomer and Milton Williams.
Team USA gets its own showdown as the women’s and men’s national hockey teams go head to head, while American Idol alumni reunite for a men-versus-women clash. David Archuleta, Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard, Jamal Roberts and David Cook will take on Kellie Pickler, Lauren Spencer Smith, Abi Carter, Maddie Poppe and Pia Toscano in what promises to be one of the season’s most nostalgic hours.
Comedy fans are well served too. Julie Bowen faces Yvette Nicole Brown, Chris O’Donnell takes on Wayne Brady, and Nicole Byer meets Margaret Cho across the podium. Elsewhere, Steve Aoki battles Joel Kim Booster, 2 Chainz goes up against Eric André, and internet personality Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Sports team takes on basketball star Cooper Flagg.
The season also makes room for music royalty. Sheila E. faces En Vogue, Lisa Lisa meets Taylor Dayne, and Zac Brown teams with Kendra Scott to play against Mickey Guyton. Reality favorites round out the card, with Kathy Hilton taking on Da Brat and Bow Wow facing Rickey Smiley’s morning show crew.
With that many personalities crammed into one season, season 12 looks set to deliver the chaotic, laugh-out-loud energy that has made the Family Feud spinoff a summer staple.
