Invincible Season 3 Release Date

Amazon Prime Video’s critically acclaimed adult animated superhero series Invincible returns for its third season in 2025. Based on Robert Kirkman’s Image Comics series, the show continues its blend of ultra-violence, emotional storytelling, and superhero deconstruction.

Plot: What We Know

Season 3 picks up after Season 2’s devastating conclusion — Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) grapples with the aftermath of his battles, his fractured relationship with his father Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), and the looming Viltrumite threat. The series adapts the “Viltrumite War” arc from Kirkman’s comics, escalating the stakes to intergalactic war.

Robert Kirkman serves as executive producer and writer. The animation is handled by Wind Sun Sky Entertainment and Skybound North. Season 3 is expected to adapt the “Invincible War” and “Viltrumite War” storylines, introducing new Viltrumite characters and expanding the cosmic scope.

Amazon MGM Studios produces in association with Skybound Entertainment. The series has been renewed through Season 4.
