GTA 6 Is Finally Coming

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is in development and set for release in fall 2025. The return to Vice City marks the franchise’s first new numbered entry since GTA V in 2013, and anticipation has reached a fever pitch.

Return to Vice City

GTA 6 takes players back to Vice City, Rockstar’s fictionalized version of Miami. The neon-soaked, sun-drenched setting first appeared in GTA: Vice City (2002), and fans have been clamoring for a return ever since. Expect beaches, nightclubs, art deco architecture, and plenty of 1980s-inspired style mixed with modern-day chaos.

Lucia and Jason: A New Criminal Duo

For the first time in a mainline GTA game, the story centers on a female protagonist, Lucia, alongside her partner Jason. The Bonnie-and-Clyde-style duo promises a fresh narrative dynamic for Rockstar’s open-world crime saga.

What We Know So Far

Rockstar’s first trailer showed off Vice City’s vibrant underworld — from beachside hotels to swampy backwaters — along with Lucia breaking out of prison and the pair embarking on a crime spree. While a firm release date hasn’t been locked in, industry watchers expect GTA 6 to be one of the biggest entertainment launches of the decade.
