Gladiator II Returns to the Colosseum
Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II brings back the epic world of ancient Rome, more than two decades after the original Gladiator won Best Picture. Paul Mescal stars as Lucius, now grown and forced into the gladiatorial arena.
A New Generation of Gladiators
Lucius, the nephew of Commodus from the first film, must fight for survival in the Colosseum while the Roman Empire faces internal corruption under twin emperors. Denzel Washington joins as Macrinus, a former slave turned arms dealer.
Scott’s Vision Continues
With Ridley Scott returning to direct, Gladiator II promises the same sweeping scale, brutal battle sequences, and political intrigue that made the original a classic.
