Plot: What We Know
Season 3 picks up after Season 2’s brutal conclusion. Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) re-enters the games with a vengeance, determined to dismantle the organization from within. The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) faces his own crisis of conscience. The games expand globally — hinting at international versions of the competition.
Hwang Dong-hyuk writes and directs the final season. The series has become Netflix’s biggest non-English hit in the US, with Season 1 reaching 165M+ US households in its first month. Season 2 premiered December 2024 to massive US viewership.
